VR isn't a side quest anymore: it's healthcare, training, retail, education and the next generation of games. The VR Specialist pathway stacks Unity's two developer credentials so you can design, code and ship real immersive experiences.
Training for both certifications is included with your bundle. Learn at your own pace, mapped to the official exam objectives, then certify when you're ready.

This is Certiport's official VR Specialist pathway: two Unity Certified User exams, the programming foundation and then VR development on top. Earn both and you unlock the stacked VR Specialist credential, one verifiable proof that you can build for virtual reality end to end.
Unity Certified User: Programmer. Scripting in C#, the Unity engine, real-time logic and interactivity.
Unity Certified User: VR Developer. Interaction design, spatial UI, XR toolkits and performance for headsets.
Both are required for the VR Specialist credential. Training for both is included with your bundle, and exams can be taken in any order.

The foundation: the coding skills every immersive build sits on. Proves you can make things actually work inside Unity.

The specialism: building for VR headsets. Puts "VR Developer" on your CV and proves you can ship immersive experiences.

A demo reel shows what you made. A certification proves you can do it again, on any project.

Studios get hundreds of hobby portfolios.

Nobody hands a client project to an untested trainee.

Businesses hesitate to trust an unknown developer with a VR project.

Following along isn't the same as building from scratch.

Remote employers need a standard they recognize.

SkillUp Pro has no annual fee. Buying any pathway bundle (self-paced or guided) or any Mastery Challenge unlocks it automatically; à-la-carte purchases don't. Once you're a member, every additional à-la-carte voucher you buy that year is 25% off. It doesn't discount the bundles themselves, and discounts don't stack.

Sit your exams at a Certiport Authorized Testing Center (CATC) near you, with the workstation and connection provided.
Available only where there's no Certiport Authorized Testing Center nearby. Exams are live-proctored through Certiport Compass Cloud, and you need a full workstation with a webcam and a fast, stable connection. You earn the same certificate and badge.
No. The Programmer credential is your coding foundation, and the training is mapped to the official exam objectives. Start where you are and work through both at your own pace.
Either order works. Most people start with Programmer, then move into VR Developer. Both are required for the stacked VR Specialist credential.
Unity Technologies issues the credentials, delivered through Certiport. They're independently verifiable, and Commsgate is a Certiport Authorized Partner.
